My book "My Last Sermon was Better than the First" is now available at the
Concordia Seminary Bookstore in Ft. Wayne. You can also order it online
at www.focusonthegospel.com. The book is about 151 pages long and
includes a lot of very practical and hands-on things that can help pastors
become better preachers. Teachers might also benefit from the read.
There's a section on education that might be of interest to educators.
The web site also has some downloadable sermons, including last
week's Life Sunday sermon, and some textual and preaching notes on this
Sunday's Gospel text (3-year series) that may be helpful in sermon
preparation. My intention is to post notes for the upcoming Sunday's
Gospel text every week by Tuesday morning.
