No, indeed, Pr. Rock, it was not from you, Ron Rock, but from Pr. Ron Roland.

In response to the question:

1) Questions about sermons are NOT to be posted to this list, but to the one
who posted the sermon.

2) That Christ "died for all" by NO MEANS establishes "universal
justification," but "universal atonement"—i.e., it declares the Calvinists'
"Limited Atonement" to be in error, but does *not* establish any error in
Johannes Gerhard, Aegidius Hunnius, Martin Chemnitz, or any of the other
orthodox Lutherans of the 1500s and 1600s as being in any error when they, for
example, declare "universal justification" to be "absurd" (thus, Gerhard). The
simple fact is that the multitude of lies that have been spread in the LCMS
based on the exegesis of the Pietists—lies fostered by Walther and Pieper and
fought for by, e.g., the Ft. Wayne faculty—that the majority of LCMS clergy
(who, really, have NO IDEA what Pieper really taught) parrot the party line,
confessing a universal justification when they don't really have a clue what it
means, or while they try to affirm it while decrying the terms, etc., showing
themselves to be in every way false (false teachers, false to their fathers,
false to themselves).

3) In further response to #1, above, anyone who wishes to turn this into a
'discussion list' will be summarily removed. THERE IS A RESON that the default
response to messages from this list go to the poster, not to the list. If one
thinks a poster is in error, tell it to him; the ONLY one who has any business
reproving on this list is me, because this list is *not* the Church, but is
*my* possession.

Thanks,

EJG
