*** Please Share This Information Wherever You Would Like *** Members and guests of The Augustana Ministerium and Confraternity are invited to join together on ***June 9, 2016,*** at Salem Lutheran Church in Malone, Texas, for our Eleventh Annual Theological Conference and Plenary Session.
This year's gathering of The Augustana Ministerium and Confraternity will take place during a single day, running from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Our business meeting will be held during the morning session. After a lunch on site, we will conduct our theological conference throughout the afternoon. This educational event will take the form of an exegetical workshop on selected portions the Book of Revelation, using as our guide the recently-published "Annotations on the Revelation of St. John" by Lutheran theologian Johann Gerhard. Each participant in the workshop will receive a free copy of the book, courtesy of The Augustana Ministerium and the book's publisher, Repristination Press. Note that we are dovetailing our meeting day with the annual Theological Colloquium, a Lutheran Free Conference, sponsored by the Evangelical Lutheran Diocese of North America. The free conference will take place on June 7th and 8th at Salem Lutheran Church in Malone, Texas. This gives the members and guests of the Ministerium and Confraternity the opportunity to hear Confessional Lutheran pastors and theologians on a variety of theological topics for the educational enrichment of Christians and edification of the Christian Church. Registration for the meeting and theological conference is now open ***but our web site is temporarily offline,*** SO registration will be handled ON SITE unless you hear otherwise here beforehand. Cost is $30 for nonmembers (includes lunch and the book), $40 for members of the Confraternity (includes lunch, the book, and annual Confraternity membership dues), and $50 for members of the Ministerium (includes lunch, the book, and annual Ministerium membership dues).
