Hi, The attached patch made against branch_2_1_fcs at 14:50 GMT on 08OCT2003 includes the following changes to fetchmail...
1) The MailImpl instance sent to James now includes the remote address and remote host of the penultimate relay in the delivery chain as reported by the 'from' field of the 'RECEIVED' headers. This is equivalent to the remote address and remote host set in the MailImpl by the SMTPHandler, which it deduces from the socket of the connected server. The InSpammerBlackList matcher validates against the remote address in the MailImpl. Prior to this patch, all mail was considered valid as the default value of localhost always passes. 2) Made logging at the INFO level less verbose and logging at the DEBUG level more detailed. I will submit a similar patch against HEAD once the previously submitted cumlative patches for HEAD are applied. Any questions, please ask. -- Steve
