I agree, I fear that we could end up never releasing if we try to do
everything every time.
We have to balance demand against stability, improvement against known
issues and release when *on balance* for most users we have an improved
version.
James is pretty much a stable product in its core functionality. In most
cases items included in or excluded from any release we make are very
much-nice-to-have's.
So lets just give the users what we, the developers, are using. It is very
far removed now from what we currently advertise as the latest stable
release, and very many times the response to users' problems is a
recommendation to upgrade to 2.2 which we make in the sure and certain
knowledge that it is both improved and stable enough to do the job well.
