I ran James 2.2.0RC2 for several days each with file system and JDBC
spoolers using PHOENIX_JVM_OPTS="-Xrunhprof:heap=sites,depth=10". I did not
see any memory leaks reported.
The test essentially consisted of sending messages through SMTP; checking
with various standard matchers; storing ~half the messages locally and
relaying the remainder to a gateway; and pulling the local messages via
POP3.
