--------------------------------------------------------------------- View the issue: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-116 Here is an overview of the issue: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: JAMES-116 Summary: plugging in other IMAP servers Type: Bug Status: Closed Resolution: INCOMPLETE Project: James Components: Documentation Versions: 2.1 Assignee: Reporter: Marcel Crasmaru Created: Thu, 24 Jul 2003 8:20 AM Updated: Sun, 6 Jun 2004 11:56 AM Environment: Operating System: All Platform: All Description: I am interested to plug in an IMAP server over James. However, some critical information is missing or hard to find. More precisely, in the case of file repository, it is not clear the safe way of copying/deleting a message. Should one use a file lock? Should one disable the James POP server? Of course one may find a response to the above questions by inspecting the source code. However, a future release of James may use a different approach. Thanks in advance. --------------------------------------------------------------------- JIRA INFORMATION: This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
