I already said that before: IIRC dbfile should not be used for spool repositories. http://james.apache.org/repositories_2_1.html "Only mail repositories have dbfile-based implementations." I still think the statement is correct and we cannot ship james 2.3.0 with dbfiles implementation for spoolrepository. I rememeber I looked at this issue few months ago and confirmed that dbfile for spool repositories could loose the message bodies.
