Stefano Bagnara updated JAMES-285: ---------------------------------- Attachment: maildir_acl_ldap_virtual_20040120.tar.bz2 Here is the attachment from the archives. Not sure that the author intended to grant ASF licensing, here is the original message from Alex Zhukov: Hi all james hackers! I have been looking for an opportunity to migrate to James for a long time, but james lacked several features I really needed. So I decided to write a patch to add some (still not all) of them to james. As you can see from the subjects they are: - Maildir support - Enhanced LDAP Support (not only LDAP actually but any JNDI directory) - SMTP ACL - ACL during SMTP-dialog (reject RBLed spammers before mail goes to spool) - Virtual Domains - my server is MX for multiple domains and users mail should go to different folders if they are in different domains Plus some minor bug fixes. I thought you might find my patch useful. Patch appeared to be pretty large so I bzip2ed it before attaching (sorry windows guys :) ). It is also available in tar.gz format at http://www.ukrpost.net/research/james/maildir_acl_ldap_virtual_20040120.tar.gz Installation and more detailed explanation is inside the tar.gz > Adding LDAP code > ---------------- > > Key: JAMES-285 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-285 > Project: James > Type: New Feature > Components: UsersStore & UsersRepository > Environment: Latest CVS Main branch. > Reporter: Adam Fowler > Attachments: maildir_acl_ldap_virtual_20040120.tar.bz2 > > Need to go through Alex's contributed code and check the LDAP stuff for > inclusion in James. > Specifically: > - Verify code is under ASF compatible license > - Split LDAP code from Alex's patch and ensure that it works in isolation > with James > - Update James config accordingly > - Ensure all libraries are available that need to be and modify build > scripts accordingly -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
