Its based on your patch that was made to support maildir ,ldap, smtp acl in james... The only problem that seems at the moment is that you just post your patch on the maillinglist but not to jira. So you don't have accept the asf license and so the code couldn't include in james. Maybe you can have a look at the post in jira and post the patch there again with accept the asf ?
