The best way to start would be to write a JUnit test to read this file:
http://www.schlitt.net/spf/tests/tests_v2.1/test.txt
and be able to run all the tests in java.
If you need help, I can write the basic unitest thing so you can work
directly on the spf code (I could find the time to do this the next
weekend).
