thought I'd deploy the tar'ed packages you guys put together.
currently its the one from stefano's home dir.
The one in my minotaur home dir has been made like this:
1) svn export http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/james/server/branches/v2.3
2) update versions in default.properties
3) download activation and mail jars to lib folder
4) ant dist
5) copy the download files to the public_html folder
Since no new commits have been done in v2.3 branch it is still the
current one.
ok, thanx for sharing this. good to know for future builds!
using the prepackaged binary tar/zip has the advantage of mimicing what
presumably most of our users do with a release: download, unpack, run.
