Hi Bernd,

I've prepared subversion folders for the postage project.
You can import the current version to the trunk folder.
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/james/postage/trunk/

We will then ask Serge to create the POSTAGE JIRA project and maybe we also need Noel to setup svn notifications for that folder.

Bernd Fondermann updated JAMES-442:
-----------------------------------

    Attachment: postage1.2.zip

- actually write the error file
- add running environment spec to config file and write out to result files
- replaced ristretto usage completely with commons-net
- make the message mime parts content random letters, not only 'X's
- add scenario to reproduce JIRA JAMES-512
- on CTRL-C, a shutdown hook writes result data instead of loosing it

[TOOL] Stress Test Tool
-----------------------

         Key: JAMES-442
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-442
     Project: James
        Type: New Feature

 Environment: Running James Server
    Reporter: Bernd Fondermann
    Assignee: Bernd Fondermann
    Priority: Minor
 Attachments: postage.zip, postage.zip, postage.zip, postage1.1.patch,
postage1.2.zip

Attached a set of classes acting as a standalone stress test tool for James.
As the package namespace I chose o.a.j.postage, the latter being the
preliminary name for this tool.
While being functional at least under James 2.2.0, all integrational aspects
are not yet discussed,
even if it is integrated into the codebase at all.
It is intended as a first draft, a base for discussions.
A howto is included.
