The whole handlerchain is already commented out, but we can add this
further level if you want it.
After i did now the changes i whould like to "delay" the improvment to
2.4. Let us release the handler like it is at the moment and add an
comment how it works to the configuration.

So we agreed... it seems that we can skip the vote and follow this path.
Imho if noone find new bugs in RC1 we can try to make an 2.3.0RC2 during
the next week.
From rc2 to final if no one find new problems we'll only fix
documentation/text files.
Imho the only thing to decide *before* rc2 is the packaging stuff (I
started a JIRA issue and I posted a message to the list for this).
