Right. It doesn't. It is not supposed to exist. That's the problem. > I just now manually checked a sample of my log's > query.bondedsender.org whitelisted IPs, and they were all correct. I have a stock install of JAMES, differing only in that it uses non-standard ports so that I can keep my production server running and has the SMTP chain configured, demonstrating the problem. If I take the exact same directory tree and run it on another server in my test environment, it works fine. > For me to understand, what's wrong with the NXDOMAIN? Nothing. That's what we're supposed to get. :-) The problem is that I am getting things like: smtpserver: Connection from cpe-024-088-022-141.sc.res.rr.com (24.88.22.141) smtpserver: Sent: 220 devtech.com SMTP Server (JAMES SMTP Server 2.3.0rc1) ready smtpserver: Connection from 24.88.22.141 whitelisted by query.bondedsender.org smtpserver: Whitelist addr = 141.22.88.24.query.bondedsender.org/216.234.246.155 And that's wrong. Something is wonky. I'm not sure what, yet. If you search for 216.234.246.15[1345] on google, you'll find a few discussions about this problem, including one on the sendmail site, so it is not JAMES specific. And I only see this with JAMES 2.3RC1. I do not see it running dig straight out of dnsjava 2.0.1, nor with the older version of JAMES. --- Noel --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
