OK, I copied over those fixes and the related fix to XMLResources. The new
packages are rolled and uploaded, and running on my server. The error I had
found is fixed.
Despite the same optimization being made to SqlResources, I did NOT copy
that over. It is used only during initialization, so I didn't feel that it
was worth any risk. XMLResources is used during message processing by the
mailing list manager, and therefore the error checking and performance
optimization have more value.
I am still +1 to release RC2.
