As noted earlier on this list, for TRUNK, JMX is not working under Java
1.5 due to classloader issues in Phoenix.
Early adaptors who want to use JMX under J1.5 should check out the
experimental James/Spring deployment at
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/james/server/sandbox/spring-integration
There, if you follow instructions in HOW-TO.txt and additionally enable
JMX in beans-base-config.xml James' MBeans should be working.
You can use this command line to bring up the JMX UI:
jconsole
service:jmx:rmi://localhost/jndi/rmi://localhost:1099/jamesmailserver
