Dmitry Buslaev updated IMAP-266:
--------------------------------

    Description:
There is a difference in displaying the list of messages in the folders in
client applications depending on mail transfer protocols: POP3 or IMAP.
The headers "From" and "To" in the message list in the IMAP folders (inbox
and sent) are displayed incorrectly, if they are Base64 encoded and their
characters are cyrillic. Question marks are displayed instead of cyrillic
letters, in "From" and "To" header.
Through IMAP on other mail servers I get all headers correct. The problem
depends on protocols and James mail server, not on fonts, character encoding
(UTF-8 or win-1251) or mail clients.
Through the POP3 protocol mail comes entirely and correct.
Through the IMAP protocol at first I get the headers only and get them
incorrectly. After opening the mail entirely (ie receiving it from James
server) I am seeing the correct mail (headers and text).

It was checked for James 3.0 M1, M2, M3 and for:
- Outlook Express, the list of the messages in the IMAP folder:
question marks instead of cyrillic letters in the headers "From" and "To",
other headers OK
- Outlook Express, opening mail entirely through IMAP:
all headers and body OK
- Outlook Express, the list of received mails through POP3:
all headers OK
- Outlook Express, opening mail, wich was received through POP3:
all headers and body OK
- Web-client Horde IMP, the list of the messages in the IMAP folder:
question marks instead of cyrillic letters in the headers "From" and "To",
other headers OK
- Web-client Horde IMP, opening mail entirely through IMAP:
all headers and body OK
- Web-client Horde IMP, the list of received mails through POP3:
all headers OK
- Web-client Horde IMP, opening mail, wich was received through POP3:
all headers and body OK
- MS Outlook, the list of the messages in the IMAP folder:
all headers OK (!!!)
- MS Outlook, opening mail entirely through IMAP:
all headers and body OK
- MS Outlook, the list of received mails through POP3:
all headers OK
- MS Outlook, opening mail, wich was received through POP3:
all headers and body OK
- The Bat!, the list of the messages in the IMAP folder:
question marks instead of cyrillic letters in the headers "From" and "To",
other headers OK. After opening the entire mail everything is OK with
message list too (!!!)
- The Bat!, opening mail entirely through IMAP:
all headers and body OK
- The Bat!, the list of received mails through POP3:
all headers OK
- The Bat!, opening mail, wich was received through POP3:
all headers and body OK

Below is "raw" email which reproduce the problem:
