As suggested by Norman, camel 2.5.0 solves this issue.
I've committed http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?rev=1128813&view=rev
This is a temporary solution, so this JIRA must remain open until other
solution.
This is not more blocker, but we will have to ensure this the whole
functionality is still ok with camel 2.5.0.
