I'm away tomorrow (18th) for a week with limited computer time (my sister-in-law is expecting #4 in the next few weeks :-)
I think all that remains before we're able to ship an official 3.0-beta3 application is generating correct LICENSE and NOTICE documents for the assembled application. I doubt I'll have time to finish this before I leave. Hopefully, I'll be able to cut a release once I'm back (before the end of July, I expect). No need to hold the upstream release chain until this is cut.
