Hello devs, So I've noticed that my Mac Mail opens like 15 to 20 connections to my James IMAP server.
I know the IMAP configuration has an option to limit based on IP, but I was wondering if what would be the best way to limit based on IP and user account or just user account? I can imagine keeping some kind of counter per user and/or ip either in memory or in our database. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to guarantee that the counter gets lowered on lost connections as well as logouts? Or would you implement this in an entirely different fashion?
