I think it is crucial we discuss and hopefully simplify the missions of this project. So it is not an import concept to convey in the documentation > Who is this images supposed to be targeting? As far as I understand it, it is supposed to explain what the James project is all about, and it is too diffuse. The homepage did put it better with a signle sentence, centering it around the server. > As a user coming to try to understand James for the first time, I want to know how it works. It is not really that important to me to know all the administrative details. I think at the project level we care about what are our goals, and how do we fullfil them. Architecture steps in to explain how we designed solutions to address those goals. It don't mean that we should not explain for instance what the mailbox is. But if we don't have the goal of providing a generic mail storage API, it should remain a server architecture detail, and not be leaked to top level project description. > > > Cheers, > =David > > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] > For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
