Hi!

James guice versions apparently run on ElasticSearch 6.x but Elasticsearch
6.8.x has recently reached end of life (6.8.x will however be maintained
until 8.0.0 gets released which hasn't happened yet).

Does anyone here have any knowledge about how much effort it would take to
update James guice to run on Elasticsearch 7.x? Is James heavily relying on
some functionality that has breaking changes in 7.x Elasticsearch*?

Or is there anyone out there who is already running James guice with
Elasticsearch 7.x?

Kind regards
Juhan Aasaru
