Hello all,
That is a couple of week I want to write an email to propose dropping
server/blob/blob-gc.
Rationals:
- This work is not integrated in existing applications
- Doing so would require extensive work (Cassandra data structures,
webadmin tasks)
- This maven module have not seen active development since 2020 (so it
would likely not happen anytime soon)
- An alternative exists, is documented, exposed on prod and works for
at least medium size deployments CF

filter approach.
- The build of this maven module takes one minute, which adds up to
the build time tax that active contributor pays.
- It could create confusion with the bloom filter approach for new comers.
As such I propose to drop it.
If someone later wants to cary on this work, the git history could be
used to resurect this module if needed.
Would people here be in favor of such a move?
