Evgeny Agronsky created JAMES-3939: -------------------------------------- Summary: Apache James server UTF8/IDN support Key: JAMES-3939 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-3939 Project: James Server Issue Type: Bug Components: configuration Affects Versions: 3.7.3 Reporter: Evgeny Agronsky
I'm running Postfix MTA with content filter based on Apache James, whenever Postfix relays a mail to the content-filter, for example with *{{From}}* field containing UTF8 characters, it fails to deliver the mail to Apache James with error: {code:java} SMTPUTF8 is required, but was not offered by host{code} Postfix for example declares UTF8 support in it's documentation and is able to handle the message. Unfortunately I could not find any documentation whatsoever on how to enable SMTPUTF8 support on James, so I'm not sure if it's supported/unsupported/bug. Does James support IDN? -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: server-dev-unsubscr...@james.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: server-dev-h...@james.apache.org
