René Cordier commented on JAMES-4067:
-------------------------------------

Following the current thread on the ML:

The current main goals don't really make sense anymore:
 * The distributed server is already provided and prod ready
 * Every version of James being maintained, saying we maintain JPA makes little
sense.

What are the main goals of the project for now?

Incoming work:
 * Finalizing Antora doc
 * Still promote Guice applications (need to still remove spring artifact when
reaching 4.0.0)
 * postgres reactive james server should be added
 * pulsar james server should be added too

Maybe continuing improving jmap support could be a main goal ? It's mainly
implemented, but we keep improving / add missing bits to it/

Also, linking those items to EPIC/Jira existing (or need to create if not)
issues

> The roadmap described in the homepage of the Apache james website is quite
> outdated.
> Following the initiated thread on the ML regarding this, that you can see

> The goal would be to discuss to refresh that roadmap.
