At the Linagora team, we are planning to implement the JMAP method:
SearchSnippet/get

We are planning to develop three implementations: OpenSearch, Lucense,
and Memory.
Essentially, Lucense and Memory will share the same Lucense API, but
they will differ in terms of the Lucense Directory,
(ByteBuffersDirectory and FSDirectory)
This feature will be independent of the current scanning search.
However, I believe it might be a good idea to replace the existing
scanning search with a Lucense-based memory search.
