In order to support Apache James (https://james.apache.org) adoptions by
first rank institutions, LINAGORA https://linagora.com/ is looking for a
Java architect.
LINAGORA develops on top of Apache James a product called Twake Mail
(https://linagora.com/twake-mail) that delivers email to the Twake
Workplace, our collaborative suite.
Key responsibility:
- Contributing new features expected by our customer
- Designing and implementing extension
- Overseeing deployments on a large scale
- Contributing storage enhancement to (or based on) Apache James
- Contributing IMAP and JMAP extensions
Key skills:
- Modern Java/Scala, reactive functional code
- Distributed data stores: Cassandra, OpenSearch, S3, RabbitMQ, Redis, ...
- Knowledge of TCP protocols, mail protocol knowledge is a huge plus
- Being a software craftsman: care to details and tests
French / being located in France is a plus.
