OK - the problem is intermittent because about 1 out of every 10 boots, the C2 does find the school mesh. I am close to the antenna, and using the B4s as controls. They are all set up identically and I reinstalled the C2 several times to be sure.
How can I generate and locate the tarball on the C2? Can't find the info on the wiki. Then olpc-netstatus reports: - Have you connected successfully with this machine? (we've seen a small % of machines with badly connected antennae) - Does this happen consistently? (a few tries) - Are you close/far from the active antenna? - As Wad says, can you send the file that olpc-netlog generates? cheers, m -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- School Server Architect - ask interesting questions - don't get distracted with shiny stuff - working code first - http://wiki.laptop.org/go/User:Martinlanghoff _______________________________________________ Server-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/server-devel
