Hello, I just did a fresh install of XS 0.6 and now I can't access Moodle. I dug around in the mail archive but couldn't find anything to fix the problem. Please see details below.
----------------------------------------- Pointing the browser to http://schoolserver.example.org/ redirects to http://schoolserver.example.org/moodle/ and says "Moodle is disabled at the moment." The file '/etc/moodle/needsupgrade' exists. >From /var/log/moodle-instupg.log: [Sun Nov 22 13:49:31 PST 2009] Start install / update Correcting version/local_version mangling - will error out on fresh DBs psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432"? (some HTML saying 'Error: Database connection failed.") [Sun Nov 22 13:49:33 PST 2009] Finished install / upgrade - Failure # service pgsql-xs status postmaster is stopped # service moodle status Moodle cron job is disabled. # chkconfig --list pgsql-xs pgsql-xs 0:off 1:off 2:on 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off # chkconfig --list moodle moodle 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off # service pgsql-xs start /library/pgsql-xs/data-8.3 is missing. Use "service postgresql initdb" to initialize the cluster first. [FAILED] ----------------------------------------- Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Ben
