Does anyone have a script to share that will auto-start James as a service under Linux when it is booted? I have tried building my own and putting it in /etc/rc.d/init.d but it freezes Linux during initialization.

If you are using the Java Server Wrapper (which I believe is what comes with Avalon), then you can look here for some ideas:
