Use Of FetchPOP

Good Morning,
 
I wanted to place Qmail in front of JAMES and have perform the necessary
processing  then hand the mail back to Qmail.  I believe that it is as
easy as configuring FetchPOP with the correct domain and username to
pull the names.  Am I correct?
