Yes. I've been through that document, but there is a surprising lack of 
code examples there. I can't really figure out what is the simplest 
component that I can start with so I can examine how the container and 
the components interact. If there was a simple HelloWorld example I 
could figure out the rest of myself.

I've been playing around with James and after getting past some
awkwardness with setting up things for outgoing mail I'm
ready to start
looking for a place where I can help out.
Unfortunately I am having the damndest time trying to find good
documentation for Avalon or Phoenix on which James is based.
Is there a
good article explaining how to use the framework or some simple
helloworld application (I downloaded the source and didn't
find one) so
that I can see how James and the container interact? I'm particularly
interested in how one could build a service that is running
parallel to
James in the container and having those two components
communicate with
one another.
