Rturning mail to spool from inbox

I want to be able to test my new spool filter setting with spam I have already 
received.  I am using a mysql database for all mail.  What fields should be copied 
back into spool to return mail for processing with new configuration, and what should 
fields be for any that need to ba changed like message_state?
