Mail DNS is more complex than just normal lookups.
The dns servers you have set in james config must be able to resolve the
mail domains.
1/ there should normally be an (or more) MX record for a mail domain
2/ it should in turn refer to an A record
3/ this is resolved to an IP address
James then attempts to connect to the IP address on port 25
Exceptions are a) when an A but no MX exist for the mail domain, James
should attempt to connect to the IP address resolved from a lookup of the
domain itself and b) when an address is of the form [EMAIL PROTECTED]
(the x'es are an IP address and the [] _are_ significant) James should
attempt to connect directly to port 25 on the IP address in the [].
You have either a DNS problem, which you can investigate by carrying out
manual lookups for A and MX in the servers you've specified for James to
use. Or a network problem preventing James from contacting the DNS servers.
