pop3 custom logic?

Hi all,
I would like to ask if it is possible to execute logic on a per POP3
connection basis - means when POP3 client is doing AUTH then my logic
somehow to be executed, when checking mail box - again main logic. Is
mailet/matcher applicable to POP3 calls?
