dnsjava and java.net are resolving differently, but I think there is something odd with your server setup, and would like to know why dnsjava isn't finding a good DNS server to use when we use org.xbill.DNS.Address to resolve. I have a current belief, which we're about to test.
The attached program uses a variety of methods for resolving DNS
information. I have a strong expectation as to what the results will be,
but I want to see them from your system. Please run it several times in a
row.
You don't need to provide any parameters this time. It is hard-coded to
look up dylan.dk against your default name server, the servers that you
originally gave me, and some others that came up on this thread. Just make
sure to that dnsjava-1.6.2.jar is in its classpath, as you have been doing
with -cp.
