And now I'm back. I expected to see some progress on this thread, but it
seems to have stalled.

Seems to me there is lots of interest, but no consensus on...

1) Venue
2) Agenda
3) Date
4) Time

...so lets try and pin things down a little with a quick non-binding vote
and see where we get to.

Fill in the following with a numerical weighting where 1 is your first
choice preference. Equal weights may be used for equal preference. An X
indicates you will not consider a choice, but there are no vetoes. A blank
indicates a null vote for that choice.

Venue:
[ ] London
[ ] Edinburgh
[ ] Glasgow
[ ] Birmingham
[ ] Bristol
[ ] Other. Where? [ ]

Agenda:
[ ] Just an informal drink and a chat (probably book a room in a pub).
[ ] As above, but a few 15 minute presentations of areas of interest.
[ ] A mini-conference. Probably in a hotel with conference facilities.

Date:
[ ] July
[ ] August
[ ] September
[ ] October
[ ] November
[ ] December
[ ] Other. When? [ ]

Time
[ ] Morning
[ ] Afternoon
[ ] Evening
[ ] Morning & Afternoon
[ ] Afternoon & Evening

I reckon we should collate the results in a couple of weeks, say 06Jun04 and
see where we are.

Anything I haven't thought of?

Ah! One thing. Though we are looking at a UK location, anyone who can make
it from wherever would be more than welcome. Perhaps we should have a prize
for the furthest travelled? Well, I for one would buy you a pint :)

Cheers,

-- Steve
