It seems that the mars monitor you recommended has the same problem, I tried to set the JVM parameter for the DNS TTL to reload, but it had no effect (cached IPs for domain forever). The author wasn't aware of the problem. Can you outline the problem a bit and how you fixed it? May be I can patch mars.
