Just set the "echo typed characters locally" option in your telnet client. If using the standard "Hyper Terminal" program in windows, go to "file/properties/settings/ASCII Setup" and set the option said above.With Hyper Terminal, your suggestion worked. Thank you :).
I wasn't using Hyper Terminal however, but the command line "telnet" what comes with windows. It's only text based, and I found no config settings for it :).
