Well something has changed!! Classpaths, containers, java, environment variables in startup scripts .... Something!!
I use James 2.2.0 and have placed my jars inside "apps/james/SAR-INF/lib" with success. I once tried to get the phoenix container to find them elsewhere, but got annoyed with classloader behavior that I failed to understand. I discovered the above worked and moved on with life. I should technically repackage the original james.sar file and add my jar(s) there, but I didn't do that either. -broc > -----Original Message----- > From: Sujit Jagdev [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Friday, February 11, 2005 4:50 PM > To: James Users List > Subject: RE: Mailet not found > > > > This has just started happening!!!!!! > Arrghh!!! > > org.apache.mailet.MailetException: Could not load mailet > (MailEventProxy.class); > nested exception is: > java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Requested mailet > not found: MailEventProxy.class. looked in [, > org.apache.james.transport.mailets., > com.casero.gemini.proxy.] > > > The jar sits in $PHOENIX_HOME/lib. > I have always placed it there. > Help > Sujit > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
