Hi, I am using 2 instances of James running on a private network, each on its own subnet with its own domain with DNS properly configured (which I checked via nslookup) and I am using Outlook as the POP3 client on each machine. The problem I am having is that mail is taking a longer time than it should to be sent across the network, which is really just a single switch for testing purposes. Even sending mail to yourself on a machine takes about a minute, while sending to the other machine takes about 2. These are both short, text-only emails with no attachments.
I believe the problem has to do with the amount of time a spool, or some other type of, thread is sleeping at a default of 60 seconds. However, I cannot seem to find a tag that would represent this for the config.xml file anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas?
