IIUC, you have the following setup in mind:
one machine running phpbb plus James acting as outgoing (+incoming?)
mail transfer agent for it.
another machine with another MTA being the email relay to the "real world".
at first, you should set up James. then configure phpbb to send mail to
James and check whether mail is received correctly. at this point, no
forwarding is going on. do you run into any problems here, already?
second, when James is basically working, configure it to act as a
Gateway, relaying all this incoming email the other machine. from how i
read the documentation on the website, the RemoteDelivery Mailet should
be able do that job.
unfortunatly, i don't have any ready-to-go configuration at hand.
hopefully, splitting up the problem helps getting you on the right track.

No, I don't know where to look.
I am a Sun Certified Java programmer and know my way around a Windows and UNIX machine so don't hold back :)
Where do I look/what do I have to code/configure to work this?

Did you take a look at the RemoteDelivery Mailet?

Hi
I am running some PHP programs that need to submit email. I want to set up my
James mail server locally so that it then sends the mail to my mail relay.
This is for my forum that I host which is PHPBB which then needs to submit
emails to James which then should be forwarded to my dyndns mail hop account
address so that they can be forwarded on.
How do I configure James to do this? I have read all the documentation and the
config.xml files but can't see a way to configure this.
Help
Thanks
Michael
