Taking about SVN James as a whole with Fetchmail, which doesn't seem to work
(NullPointer in computeDynamicAccounts).

That bug you mentioned doesn't seem to affect me right now.

This is a log sample from 2.2.0
31/10/05 22:13:40 INFO fetchmail.spamdcan: Spooled message to recipients: [EMAIL PROTECTED] . Message ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. Flags: Seen = false, Delete = false. 31/10/05 22:14:33 INFO fetchmail.spamcan: Ignoring recipient header. Using configured recipient as new envelope recipient: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Flags: Seen = false, Delete = false.

From what I understand from reading the comments in the fetchmail config file, if leaveonserver="false" is in <fetched>, delete should be true for every message regardless (I'm processing spam here so must messages will trip the filters in fetchmail, so I set reject to false on all of them).

AFAIK James 2.2.0 fetchmail had at least one critical bug. It was fixed a
few months later (see http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-359).
About the SVN fetchmail it simply should work: you obviously can't just take
the source for the fetchmail.java file and use it with your James 2.2.0. Try
to get the whole james svn if you want to test the latest trunk. You will
need to update your configuration files, too!

Alternatively you can try to get from svn the fetchmail stuff from feb/mar
2005: this should be compatible with james 2.2.0 and should have at least
James-359 fixed.
