Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am running James 3.0 on Windows XP and have recently discovered that my
outgoing folder is growing. It seems that nothing is being delivered outside
the server itself. The mailet logfile seems to show that my ISP's SMTP
server is refusing James's connections:
07/11/05 21:42:58 INFO James.Mailet: RemoteDelivery: Attempting delivery of

07/11/05 21:42:58 INFO James.Mailet: RemoteDelivery: Could not connect to
SMTP host: 195.41.46.251, port: 25;
nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect
07/11/05 21:42:58 INFO James.Mailet: RemoteDelivery: Temporary exception
delivering mail (Mail1131136977343-344-!356708:
07/11/05 21:42:58 INFO James.Mailet: RemoteDelivery: Storing message
Mail1131136977343-344-!356708 into outgoing after 16 retries
I have tried to remove the gateway settings, so that James tries to deliver
the mails directly, but that senario gives that same effect - except that it
is the remote SMTP servers that refuse the connection instead of my ISP's
SMTP server. My ISP checked that my server was not black listed, so that
should not be the problem.
What can my problem be?
Sincerely,
Marc de Oliveira
