Sadly not so simple Noel, if James *is* the server it will expect to
receive and relay mail from all kinds of hosts with his domain in the From:
field.

If we had a "FromDomainIs" matcher (hint... write one and submit it :-) you
could combine it with others to impose more stringent checking on local
mail to local users.

Perhaps by including a check to make sure the sending machine is in your
domain, or perhaps by checking the number of hops using RelayLimit.

RelayLimit won't help if the spam is coming straight into your machine, but
if your domain users have to use your server for sending from their domain
you can limit local->local mail to one hop because James should be able to
deal with it in one go.

I know this ain't a solution, but I hope it gives you food for thought.

d.

If e-mail from your domain can be sent only from your own mail server, you
could check that, which is what SPF does.

Now we just need for someone to write an SPF matcher.
