It is correct to require authentication for not-trusted networks. What
is the problem? Maybe James is requiring authentication also to client
trying to deliver mail to a local address? Then maybe your servernames
was set to auto and is not correctly configured anymore after the IP
switch. Try to look at the servernames configuration in config.xml and
make sure your domains are listed there.
