It happens after a while, I don't have any logs giving an error other than the phoenix.console. Sadly it doesn't give a timestamp.

We are just using the SMTP server component, all others have been disabled.

Here's an extract from the phoenix.console

Is this happening immediately, or after some time/number of connections
(there is a known memory leak in JAMES 2.3.0 related to InetAddress)?
