Hi Norman/Stefano,
Are you sure your filesystem has enough space ?
There is plenty of space.
Anything in phonix.log ?
When it happens again (should be in the next day or two) I will send a
more detailed query with phoenix log included. This has happened on
different servers so may be a configuration issue on my side.
What is the range of this "random amount of uptime"
It would be days..
Is your installation a default installation or did you changed anything
but config.xml ?
No, I have a few matcher/mailet pairs. I also use my own log4j in my mailets to
log to my own log handlers. Not sure if this may affect it, but it would'nt
explain the fact that it works fine for a while, then stops ?
Can you take a thread dump (kill -3 <javapid> on unix, CTRL-BREAK con
console in windows, jstack <javapid> if you have java5) after it stops
logging?
Will do when its in that state again.
After reading your responses, and the fact that no-one else seems to have had
the same issue I am assuming its something on my side but I will investigate
further and send mre info.
Thanks
Hans
