Assuming that you don't run into directory size limits, you'll be better
off
with dbfile rather than db for messages of these sizes.
Wow, I completely lost you on that one. I run between 5,000 and 10,000
emails through my server in one day (counting all the spam as well). You're
saying that text-file based file-system storage is better than using a tuned
mySQL database??? How many emails would I have to be pushing through daily
to get to a point where a database would be better?
